The quest for perfect photographs continues … almost by accident. I have been fairly happy with the current ones above which are done on card but yesterday I went to set everything up to photograph some new designs and spotted a dark piece of wood there and thought I’d give that a try. I don’t know what made me do it because now I’m torn! I like the clean look of the card but the natural look of the photos on wood below is really calling to me too. Do you think that perhaps they are more honest and fitting with the Kutuu style? Are they as classy as the current ones or more so? Which do you prefer?

… are worth waiting for. These “soon” to be charm bracelets seem to have been on my workbench in one form or another for ages now. I’m at the “got the chains and clasps made … now what?” stage so I’m currently hunting for interesting gemstones and silver bits to use on them. I have a few idea floating round including sunstone, pearls, aquamarine and pierced silver (not all at once!) but nothing certain just yet. I think I need to take a look through my stash and see if anything jumps out at me.
On a completely different note, I really like the dark background in this photo - do you? :)

Four new additions to the website today - Intricacy earrings with citrine, Go Nuts! pin, Zuri earrings with pearls and a Midnight pendant.
The Intricacy and Zuri pieces can be made up in other gemstones on request and I am planning to design some matching pieces for them too so keep a look out for those!

Kutuu appears twice in October’s issue of Accent, a magazine based in the North. A photo of the Serenity bracelet accompanies a section on bespoke jewellery whilst the Keeping Tabs tie pin gets a mention too!
